About Sahlia

I didn't want to choose between my kids and my career. So I chose both.

That sentence sounds neater than it actually is. Most days it looks like a business call with a toddler on my hip, or a deep work window that lasts exactly as long as a nap does, which is to say, unpredictably.

I am the CEO of a marketing agency, and I'm building WFH Mama Co. in the gaps around it... weekends, early mornings, and whatever's left after bedtime when I'm too tired to think straight but too stubborn to stop.

Sahlia

The bit nobody warns you about.

Working from home with kids and no childcare or village isn't the dream it looks like online. It's not a laptop on a beach. It's not "flexible hours" in the way that phrase gets used in job ads.

It's real work, squeezed into a day that runs on toddler time, not clock time. It's a mental load that never fully switches off. It's trying to do your best thinking in a house where quiet isn't guaranteed.

It's also genuinely good, in the moments people don't put on Instagram. Being the one who's actually there. Building something real without having to hand your day over to someone else's schedule. I wouldn't trade it; it is so worth it.

I built WFH Mama Co. because I was sick of using tools that assumed a different kind of day than mine, and I want to build the support systems and tools that will actually help solve the challenges WFH mothers face in a practical way.

What I've actually built.

The Energy-Based WFH Planner

Not time-blocked, energy-mapped. Because at 2pm on a Thursday after a bad night, I am not doing my best thinking, and no planner should assume I am. This one matches the work to the energy you've actually got, not the hour on the clock.

The Village Membership

A business buddy, matched to how you actually work. Weekly co-working, so you're not building alone in a quiet house. A community of mums doing the exact same juggling act you are, for the "same, today was a mess" moments.

More is coming.

A Digital Organiser to get the mental load out of your head. A Co-Op Toolkit for setting up a practical childcare swap nearby. I'm building this the same way I'm asking you to plan your days: in the time I actually have.

Coffee and workspace

A few honest things about me.

I do Reformer Pilates most mornings at 5am, before anyone else is awake, because it's the one hour of the day that's reliably mine. I don't show my kids in my content, not because they're not the whole reason I'm doing this, but because their privacy is important and this space is for work.

I'm not a 'productivity guru'. I don't have a single, magic system that fixes everything, and I wouldn't trust anyone who claims they do.

What I have is a genuine, still-being-built answer to a problem I live every day, and a peer-to-peer belief that the mums doing this deserve real tools, not more guilt dressed up as advice.

If you're building this too...

You don't need to have it figured out. Neither do I, most days. But if you're trying to build a business, or hold down a job, from a house that's also full of kids, with no outside childcare and no clear system built for your life, I built this for you. Not around you. For you.

Either way, you're not meant to be doing this alone.
